A rising TikTok star is learning a valuable lesson about fame after local police allegedly use a series of his viral videos to connect him to a chain of robberies!
According to Fox 2 Detroit News, an anonymous tip was forwarded on behalf of
Terrell ‘Chozen’ Hannah. The unidentified person is said to have forwarded multiple TikTok videos where it shows Chozen wearing gym shoes that just so happen to match the shoes worn during a total of four armed robberies.
Local authorities say that a video was posted by Chozen the same exact day he committed his very first robbery.
Sources confirm that Chozen had held up a local 7-Eleven twice and has also been accused of robbing a Marathon gas station. An initial investigation was launched back in December of 2021, in regards to a man wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask, and white shoes.
The suspect is said to have been carrying a black backpack decorated with pink flowers as he held a clerk at gunpoint.
It has been indicated that the robberies all trended in similarity one after the other by the same suspect.
Earlier this month, police said state they found Chozen inside a home located on Virgil St in Redford. It has been stated that he had admitted to all four crimes.
Terrell is currently being held without bond awaiting a hearing in federal court. He’s being charged with robbery affecting interstate commerce along with possessing a firearm during a violent crime. He could face up to 20 years or more behind bars.
