According to the New York Post, Issa has partnered up with the folks of Airbnb with the initiative of providing fans a real experience of LA and it’s connection to Black culture.

I’m inviting guests to spend a weekend in my hometown to experience the culture, businesses and communities that influence my storytelling on screen,” says the Insecure creator.

I can’t wait to show guests all the things that make black LA so special firsthand.” Sources confirm that booking opens up on February 8th at 1PM EST for one stay at the going rate of $56 dollars from Saturday February 12th to Monday February 14th.

“The streets, sights and sounds of my hometown have long been a main character in my creative work. You may have heard that I’m rooting for everybody black — and this mission is inspired by my LA community. During this epic weekend, I hope you come to appreciate my community’s rich history and its many contributions to LA, says Issa.

The lucky guests will also be able to chat with Issa virtually during their stay.

Issa’s mid-century View Park home also has beautiful decked out artwork by local black artists such as Maya Iman, Vakseen and Domonique

The stay will come with signature entities:

•A catered Super Bowl 2022 “Game Day” taco dinner for two

  • Panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills from the outdoor lounge

  • Use of Sienna Naturals hair care products (“that you can take home!”) for a “little Self Care Sunday, any day.”

  • Relaxing by the pool during “LA Winter”

Issa says describes the area as having, “so many unique neighborhoods, but I have a soft spot for South LA,”

“It’s exciting to see the neighborhood get the attention it deserves as everyone prepares for football’s favorite Sunday,” she continued in the listing. “From Leimert Park or View Park to Inglewood and Baldwin Hills, you’ll quickly learn why South LA is home to some of the city’s best, if lesser-known, food, art, creativity and culture.”
