Cousins!

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you all of the recently reported passing of fashion icon Andre Leon Talley 🙏🏿🕊

According to TMZ, the former Vogue creative director passed away Tuesday at a hospital located in White Plains New York. There has been no details forwarded at this time upon his cause of death or pre-existing health issues.

Talley was instrumental to Vogue’s vision and direction in the ’80s and ’90s, when he worked his way up the magazine ranks to eventually become the news director — which he helmed from ’83 to ’87 — and then ascended to Vogue’s creative director in ’88, reports TMZ.

Andre’s big personality is what fans and fellow celebrities will remember most. Identified as a trailblazer , he held down the position of being Vogue’s go-to guy from the 80s through the 90s when it came down to creative direction.

More recently within his career Andre was named the stylist of Barack Obama’s presidency, and even served as a judge on ‘America’s Next Top Model’
