A recently filed lawsuit accusing Trey Songz of a 2018 sexual assault incident has surfaced!
A woman by the name of Jauhara Jeffries, says the incident took place on New Year’s Day, while at a Miami nightclub called E11EVEN. The suit also names Diddy as the defendant within this legal situation that has been brewing for quite some time.
As reported by Ebony, Jeffries filed a suit last week Monday in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. She alleges she was in attendance at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ home, for his New Year’s Eve party where the defendant Songz was as well. After about two hours, the Plaintiff and her friends were ready to head to E11EVEN nightclub.
She claims Songz overheard and since he happened to be leaving at the same time, invited them all to come with him to E11EVEN. Jeffries accepted and noted the singer was already intoxicated. They were with Songz at a private table and at some point she was dancing on a couch when she allegedly felt the defendant’s fingers penetrate her. Jefferies claims Songz pulled his hand away as she turned around.

The suit alleges “Plaintiff immediately got off of the couch, sat down, and was in a state of shock.” Another woman came over to check on Jeffries and stated that she too was assaulted the same way. She left the club with her friends and Songz. While in his vehicle she claims Songz removed his shirt. “Fearing more assault, plaintiff began recording defendant Songz for her own safety.”
She details that the singer didn’t like that at all and things escalated from there.
The suit details how Songz tried to grab Plaintiff’s phone. She refused to turn it over and that is when he allegedly ‘instructed his driver to stop the vehicle in order to forcibly remove the plaintiff’. The driver grabbed the plaintiff and violently pulled her out of the vehicle, while defendant Songz pushed her, and threw her onto the street. Then Songz allegedly ‘threatened and ridiculed’ her and threw water in her face.‘
The woman alleges civil assault and battery, as well as negligence and emotional distress. Jeffries initially filed last year, under the name “Jane Doe”. It was dismissed, without prejudice because of a technical error. Her legal team fixed it and refiled the suit seeking more than $20 million in damages for medical expenses, lost wages, and emotional distress.
An E11EVEN spokesperson released a statement which said “We have reviewed the complaint with our counsel and it is clear that neither E11EVEN nor its employees were involved in the incident which is alleged to have happened approximately four years ago. … E11EVEN does not condone the actions alleged in any manner.” They will be seeking to be dismissed from the lawsuit.
Hot97 alleges, neither Diddy nor Songz have spoken about the incident. Diddy is named as a defendant for providing alcohol to Songz.
