Cousins!

Louisiana rapper NBA Youngboy’s ride or die fans cried foul when they took to social media recently, upset that their favorite artist’s music videos suddenly vanished from YouTube!

Hypebeast reports, that in a recent Clubhouse based interview with DJ Akademiks, YoungBoy revealed that he has not felt the same way about creating music for a while now. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems.

Digital Music News broke Youngboy’s numbers all the way down. The 22 year old artist pulls the most impressive views Youtube has ever seen from a U.S. artist on their platform. To go from holding down a combined total of over 9.13 billion views on his channel that also boasts over 10 million subscribers, to no videos at all, is the reason his fans’ emotions ran amuck.
The popular rapper’s team works overtime with him to dominate the game. They involve his listeners and keep them engaged, so there is a very notable ‘Gorilla glue’ style of attachment to him, that has been well noted in the industry.

He continues, “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.”

As for his YouTube channel, no one knows why the video purge happened. Despite his recent news, YoungBoy, just dropped a brand new video, titled “Heart & Soul / Alligator Walk” which has already pulled in over a million views.

Noticeably absent, is the highly anticipated mixtape collab with Birdman that his cult-like followers expected to send into rotation bliss, All Hip Hop reports.

Fans are delirious with excitement about something big on the horizon. Birdman, a living legend in his own right, shared on social media of their up and coming project together, stating  “FROM THA BAYOU #STUNNA and TOP this FRIDAY 12/3 NEVA BROKE AGAIN #RICHGANG 🦅🐊”. The artwork for the cover is profound.

In a recent interview, the Cash Money Records King shared his thoughts of the troubled artist “When that lil’ boy get his mind right and he comes from under this bulls*ht and understands who he is, you know, Thug and all them, they’re up in age, they’re 30, this n*gga 20. And you put a n*gga behind the wall, they become smart.”

Youngboy is an iconic figure to his diehards partly because he’s pulled off the unthinkable. He surpasses artists like Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift, on the regular, reports The New York Times. Let that sink in.

Youngboy’s been previously compared to Tupac Shakur, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne; his mounting troubles with the law remain in constant threat of clashing with his commercial success.
