After years of constant dispute and uncertainty, we finally get a chance to listen to Aaliyah music on digital streaming services. Fans have been anticipating the arrival of the late beauty. Despite no longer being physically here with us, 20 decades later, Aaliyah still reigns supreme with her classic albums.

Although the announcement came from the singer label Blackground Records in August (founded by her uncle/manager Barry Hankerson), her estate (run by her mother Dianne and brother Rashad Haughton) was not on board with the decision.

After releasing a cryptic statement regarding the re-releasement, her estate asked for “forgiveness” and the desire to move forward. The constant battle involving these two and the unknown reason has stirred in mystery. Hopefully, both parties resolved their issues.

The re-releasement of Aaliyah albums gradually was released within the last following weeks. Fans have taken to social media to comment on how iconic the singer was and her influence on today’s current artists.

Aaliyah was just as timeless as well as her music. She impacted many people with her down-to-earth nature and her array of beauty. Now that her music is here, we can finally celebrate her artistry as a musician. Decades later and “Baby Girl” is still making moves.
