Beyoncé And Jay-Z Team Up With Tiffany & Co. To Provide $2 Million Dollars In Scholarship Funding For HBCU Students!

The Carters are partnering up with the folks of Tiffany & Co. to provide scholarships to students currently enrolled in Historically Black Colleges and Universities!

Beyoncé’s Bey GOOD and Jay-Z’s Shawn Carter Foundation are joining forces with Tiffany & Co. to forward a total of $2 million dollars to the ‘About Love’ Scholarships program reports CNN.

“These funds will have a tremendous impact on who we recruit and our student’s success as they move on to graduate and professional schools and into their careers,” says President of Central State University Dr. Jack Thomas.

The scholarship is to help assist students studying within the areas of creative arts.

The selected eligible HBCU’s are Lincoln University locatesd in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, Bennet College in North Carolina, the University of Arkansas at Pune Bluff and Central State University in Ohio.

“We would like to thank the Shawn Carter Foundation, BeyGOOD, The Carters and the Tiffany & Co. family for including Lincoln University in this amazing gift,” says President of Lincoln University, Dr. Brenda A. Allen.

“Lincoln has placed a high priority on supporting the arts and humanities on our campus. Providing financial support for students pursuing these majors enhances their ability to more fully engage their studies.”

Sources have confirmed that scholarship applications were forwarded to students at each campus on Friday with the deadline being on Sunday.
