According to the NY Post the 75 year old passed away from cardiac arrest and organ failure due to septic shock and metastatic adenocarcinoma identified as a form of cancer.

Reports read that the veteran actor passed away at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center located in Los Angeles.

Charlie has held a long-standing career within the entertainment business for over 50 years with roles in epic series and films such as Set it Off, Night Court, The Game, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, House, This is Us and more.

His legacy will continue through his wife, children, grand children and great grandchildren. 🙏🏿
