Cousins! Beyoncé is giving back this holiday season in a major way as her charity organization of BeyGOOD is set to bless 100 families facing eviction or home foreclosure with $5K each!
But Queen Bey’s generosity began there she had also created a business grant to help forward financial assistance to 250 small businesses for a total of $10K while donating various essential supplies to numerous organizations.
According to the Daily Mail , the foreclosure moratorium officially expires December 26th. Which will ultimately leave hundreds to thousands of families facing extreme and desperate circumstances.
Sources have confirmed that applications will become available January. 7th, 2021 with payments to be issued later that month. It has been indicated that all necessary documentation must be forwarded to the NAACP.
The official announcement was made Tuesday afternoon on Beyoncé’s website. The statement reads, ‘Beyoncé is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most,’ it went on before explaining how Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will address those impacted by the looming housing crisis.“
‘The housing moratorium is set to end on December 26th, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions. Many families are impacted, due to the pandemic that resulted in job loss, sickness and overall economy downturn.”
The statement continues, “This holiday season, while many are stressed with what they will do next regarding their housing, we are proud to share some GOOD news. Beyoncé is giving $5k grants to individuals and families facing foreclosures or evictions.”
