After splitting from her husband Duane Martin within a marriage of over 20 years, actress Tisha Campbell is officially speaking on her life upon having to start over!

In a one on one interview with Kevin Fraizer of Entertainment Tonight Tisha spoke about some of the difficulties she faced as a newly single mother raising her to son’s Xen and Ezekiel with no money.

“Nothing. No one knows that but I had nothing,” Tisha stated with tears eyes. “Nothing in the bank. Nothing. I had maybe $7 to my name and I was scared. It was like I was starting all over.”

According to Madame Noire Duane had hid money from Tisha throughout their marriage within form of a bankruptcy scam.

Thankfully since their split back in 2018 Tisha has been able to reclaim her life and continue her career.

Tisha co-hosted the Soul Train Awards on BET alongside her best friend and fellow actress Tichina Arnold for the last three consecutive years. She’s also working on some upcoming television projects.

“The fact that I did raise children who didn’t care about the big mansion that I had or that we had to start over or any of it, “ says Tisha.

“Starting over is not always the easiest thing, but it is the necessary thing. It’s a beautiful devastation.”
