It appears that Central Park #Karen is set to pay for her wrongful doings after lying to authorities that a Black man attacked her, as she is currently facing projectional charges!

As we previously reported the viral Memorial Day incident circulated showing Black male bird watcher Christian Cooper, asking white female Amy Cooper, to please place her dog on a leash which has been identified as a required regulation of the park.

She responded immediately and erratically by threatening to call the police and even contacting 911 stating that she was being attacked by an African American man.

According to TMZ; Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. announced Monday afternoon the official initiation to prosecute Amy for, “ Falsely reporting an incident in the third degree.” Sources have confirmed that she is scheduled for a court hearing within the month of October.

 Cy Vance Jr continues, “I would like to encourage anyone who has been the target of false reporting to contact our Office. We are strongly committed to holding perpetrators of this conduct accountable.”

If convicted Amy could face up to 1 year in prison for false reporting.
