The super streaming service of #Netflix has recently announced that they will be issuing a series of membership cancellations for inactive subscriptions soon!
According to CNCB News, Netflix will begin directly asking customers who haven’t shown any recent activity within the last year do they want to keep their subscription.
Sources have confirmed that if the specified user doesn’t respond, Netflix will then automatically cancel the subscription. It has been indicated that inactive customers will begin seeing the feature pop up in either notifications or emails within a weeks time.
“We’re asking everyone who has not watched anything on Netflix for a year since they joined to confirm they want to keep their membership. And we’ll do the same for anyone who has stopped watching for more than two years,” says director of product innovation Eddy Wu within a forwarded statement.
