#Beyonce and her mother #MsTinaLawson have paired up to bring fourth awareness within their home town of #Houston , #Texas by helping residents of minority communities receive proper and affective #Covid-19 testing!

According to ABC News, Ms Tina was both shocked and disappointed at the alarming rate at which Black men, women and children are dying within direct correlation to the #Coronavirus cries. Sources conclude that she then contacted her daughter Beyoncé and numerous members of the Knowles family to launch a campaign titled “ I did my part”.

“Our people are dying, and we are misinformed,” says Miss Tina. “We are still showing up in public places with no mask and no protection. And, for some reason, young people think they can’t get this, which is not true.”

Reports read that the campaign’s main initiative consists of providing free testing to at least 1,000 individuals, provide masks, cleaning supplies, disinfectant, gift cards for free food and essential vitamins.

Miss Tina notes that Houston will forever remain home to them all no matter where on earth they may live. “Houston is home for us. I was born in Galveston, but I moved to Houston very young. My children were raised here, and we absolutely love Houston. We love the community. We love the energy.”

She continues by saying that both Beyonce and Solange have been involved in giving back since very young ages.
“We started feeding the homeless when Solange was five and Beyoncé was 10,” she said. “They weren’t happy about it back then, but I’m so happy we did that. We committed six months Sundays after church, and they learned early on that feeling you get when you make a difference in someone’s life.”

It has been indicated that the campaign is set to launch this week in Houston, however none of the Knowles family will be present due to the fact they’re still within quarantine.

“We FaceTime every day, which was great in the beginning, but now, it’s getting old,” she states. “I want to touch my grandchildren so bad.”

I did my part” is set to kick of this weekend on Saturday. Free testing will be available within the locations of Cullen Middle School, located at 6900 Scott St, on Friday and Forest Brook Middle School, located at 7525 Tidwell Rd. It has been noted that both locations are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
