Lemonade is considered the Texas native’s most vulnerable album yet as she opened up about numerous occurrences in her life as woman and as a wife dealing with her own insecurities and her husband’s apparent occurrences of infidelity.
Lemonade went on to win a #Grammy for Best urban contemporary album in 2013, #SoulTrain music award in 2016 for Album/ Mixtape of the year, NAACP image award for outstanding album in 2017, BET Album of the year in 2017, Billboard music award for top R&B album in 2017.
