It is with an extremely heavy heart that we inform you of the recent passing of former Seahawks quarterback Taravis Jackson!
According to KOMO News, Jackson, 36 was identified as being involved in a horrific car accident on Sunday evening around 8PM. Sources have confirmed that he was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro that went off of the side of the road, hit a tree and ultimately flipped over. Jackson was rushed to a local hospital where he was shortly pronounced dead.
Reports read that the incident occurred on Pike Road which has been indicated to be nearly 7 or so miles from Jackson’s hometown of South Montgomery.
State Trooper Benjamin “Michael” Carswell, of Alabama Law Enforcement has come forward to state that there are no further details at this moment following Jackson’s death.
Jackson is remembered for his 10-year NFL career and legacy with the Seattle Seahawks, Minnesota Vikings aa well as the Buffalo Bills.
Fellow Seahawks teammate #RussellWilson took to Twitter to pay his respects upon Jackson’s untimely passing.
