Congratulations are in order, the legendary #SerenaWilliams has officially won her first tennis match since giving birth to her daughter three years ago!

According to People Magazine; Williams win derives from a recent match against Jessica Pegula at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand on Sunday. Williams beat Pegula 6-3 and 6-4.

“It feels good,” says Williams after the game. “It’s been a long time. I’ve been waiting two years for this moment. I think you could see the relief on my face.”


Sources have confirmed that Williams last win took place January of 2017 while she was pregnant with her baby girl Alexis Olympia.

“You have to be your biggest cheerleader, especially if you’re feeling you’re not doing everything right — or even if you are doing everything right but things aren’t working out for you,“ Williams continues.

It has been indicated that Williams has decided to forward her $ 43,000 cash prize money to help with Wildfire relief efforts over in Australia.
