With new changes to the the overall story line and casting; we are forced to wonder how will thing’s ultimately leave off.

As previously reported #JussieSmollett was completely removed from the second half of season five. “It would be weird in my mind to end this family show and this family drama of which he was such a significant part of without seeing him,” stated Empire show runner Brett Mahoney within a recent interview.

As of right now there has been no official statements made on behalf of the Fox broadcasting network. Though the show’s producers are currently within talks of reviving Jussie’s character for the finale, nothing has been finalized.
“It’s fair to say it’s being discussed, but there’s no plan as of yet to bring him back,” says Mahoney. “There’s been no decision made.”
