14 Year Old Aspiring NBA Player Fatally Struck On Basketball Court In Queens!

#Cousins we ask you to please join us in sending an abundance of prayer and our most sincere condolences to the family of a fourteen year old boy who was murdered this weekend at a Queens basketball court!

Amir Griffin, 14 was described by many as a good kid who loved school and basketball. He had dreams of becoming an official NBA Star player and was often sighted practicing. #NBCNewYork reports that the basketball court shooting took place Saturday night Oct. 26th At Baisley Park Houses, by Foch Boulevard and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard.

Sources have confirmed that Griffin was found at the scene with a bullet wound to his neck. He was then rushed to Jamaica hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators have concluded that they do not believe that he was the intended target.

It has been stated that Councilwoman Adrienne Adams was in the area the same night of the shooting. She has since come forward to state, “We’ve had the skywatch here for sometime what the circumstances are surrounding the skywatch and the officers being during the time of the shooting.” Adams is demanding answers upon police officials failure to protect the community of criminals feel confident to kill Simpson’s while an entire watch tour is present.
