There’s a few things the world should rightfully know not to play with when dealing with a black woman, and at the very top of that list is her children!
#TheBlast has recently reported that #Beyonce is currently in a trademark war against a wedding planner identified as Wendy Morales for the name “ Blue Ivy”. Sources have confirmed that the two ladies have been in court for years over the issue. @Solely because Beyonce has been attempting to trademark her daughter’s name and has been unable to because Morales states she has been using the same name for her own business.
Recent reports state that the two women will be heading to trial soon to hopefully end the Blue Ivy name war. Beyonce has recently forwarded supporting documents as to why she should be granted approval to trademark Blue Ivy’s name and also pointing out that she wants to trademark the name “ Blue Ivy Carter” not “ Blue Ivy.”
“Consumers are likely to be confused between a boutique wedding event planning business and Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of two of the most famous performers in the world, is frivolous and should be refused in its entirety, states the singer. Beyoncé goes on to describe Morales wedding planning business as a, “small business, with just three regional offices and a handful of employees.”
Morales has not only openly admitted to reaching out to Beyoncé’s agent but also stating that her business has gained more exposure due to the Carter family. She has also been sited as having special deals and sales during Blue’s birthday each year.
Cousins we will definitely keep you posted on all trial updates!
