An ordinary shopping experience turned into a bloody one late Saturday morning at a local #Walmart near Cielo Vista Mall. #NewYorkTimes reports; Patrick Crusius, 21 literally stalked multiple shoppers in the aisles as he opened fire. Witnesses identified Crusius as a white male armed with a large gun and dressed with what appeared to be shoulder pads.
It has been indicated that the packed store was fuming with gun smoke as shoppers attempted to escape or cover their families in the midst of the ordeal. Those that did escape describe the scene as gruesome, stating there were bodies and pools of blood belonging to victims as young as infants.
Crusius is currently in Police custody as an active investigation takes place. It has been reported that officials have obtained the findings of a detailed manifesto that Crusius had posted moments before the massacre. The 4 page manifesto titled “The Hispanic invasion of Texas,” consists of the previous mass shooting in Christchurch, #NewZealand which left 51 people dead , describes his displeasure of Hispanics gaining power within the U.S. and deep discussion of his planned out attack.
“Hispanics will take control of the local and state government of my beloved Texas, changing policy to better suit their needs,” he continues to describe the U.S as “rotting from the inside out,” stating that “the heavy Hispanic population in Texas will make us a Democrat stronghold.”
The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott states “Texas grieves for the people of El Paso today,” he continues “On a day that would have been a normal day for someone to leisurely go shopping, turned into one of the most deadly days in the history of Texas.”
