Scammer Snags Major Pay Day Under Forged Kanye West Signature!

Fashion Week has officially began! As the glitz and glamour splash the cold streets of New York; paired up with highly publicized fashion designers and models. The drama has also been pushed  to the forefront, and at front of the drama train reads the name, the one and only “ Kanye West! “

According to #TheGrio Mr West’s Signature has been place in an exceedingly compromising situation. A unnamed person has conducted a scam worth one million dollars towards fashion designer  Philipp Plein Under Kanye’s name.Sources have indicated that Plein is set to conduct a New York Fashion week based event on Monday. As he began negotiating for talent to perform at the event, he thought he had stumbled across a business deal with West.

The scammer portrayed himself as a representative of the #GoodMusic record label. The unnamed negotiated a price tag of a million dollars to assure West’s performance. The unnamed then request $900,000 upfront. Sources have indicated that once Plein wired the money to a fake account in West’s name, the money was immediately retrieved from the account. It has been stated that it wasn’t until West’s Wife Kim Kardashian stated within a tweet : “He’s not performing at any fashion show this season. Just a rumor“ , that the news of the scam came about.

According to #TMZ , the unnamed person responsible is a former #GoodMusic associate.
