Donald Trump has officially confirmed he won’t be making an appearance at Super Bowl LX!

In a recent interview with the New York Post, Trump explained that the event is just “too far away” for him to attend. He added that while he has “great hands for the Super Bowl,” the timing simply doesn’t line up with his schedule.

“It’s just too far away,” Trump said. “I would. I’ve (gotten) great hands (at) the Super Bowl. They like me.”

The decision comes after Trump previously criticized the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny as a headliner. Back in October, he told NewsMax that he had “never heard of” the Puerto Rican superstar, calling the pick “ridiculous.”

During Friday’s interview, Trump doubled down, saying the decision “sows hatred” and calling it “terrible.”

I’m anti-them,” Trump said. “I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”

As expected, the announcement has sparked reactions online — with fans weighing in on everything from Trump’s absence to his hot take on the halftime show.

Super Bowl LX is set to go down February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area.
