President Trump is utilizing his platform to speak on the currently proposed stimulus check for $600 while demanding an increase to $2000!

In an uploaded video posted on Twitter on Tuesday evening Trump stayed, “I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple.”

According to NBC News , legislation has already passed both houses of Congress with veto proof majority, basically meaning that Trump has no authority to raise the stimulus payments.

Trump referred to the proposed $600 payment as a disgrace. Though reports read that the Democratic House will fight to have a stand-alone bill passed for $2000, it has been indicated if senate will also be on board.

As we previously reported the direct payments for $600 could possibly be forwarded as early as next week. Nothing has been finalized as of yet, stick with us for updates!
